§ 18-33. Enforcement; permit required for demolition or moving of building or structure.

  • Anyone responsible for or performing the demolition or moving of a building or structure in the historic district without first obtaining an approved permit and complying fully with the provisions of the permit and the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Additionally, unless a permit was obtained for such demolition or moving and unless such permit was fully complied with, a building permit shall not be issued by the village pertaining to any parcel on which a building or structure has been demolished or moved in violation of this article for a period of five years after the date on which the structure was demolished or moved.
