§ 42-4. Michigan Motor Carrier Safety Act and amendments and revisions adopted.

(a)

Michigan Motor Carrier Safety Act and amendments and revisions adopted. The Michigan Motor Carrier Safety Act of 1963, Public Act 181 of 1963, being MCL 480.11 through MCL 480.25, and all future amendments and revisions to the Act, are incorporated and adopted by the Village of Romeo by reference.

(b)

References in Michigan Motor Carrier Safety Act. References in the Michigan Motor Carrier Safety Act to "local authorities" shall mean the Village of Romeo.

(c)

Penalties. The penalties provided by the Michigan Motor Carrier Safety Act are adopted by reference, provided that the Village of Romeo may not enforce any provision of the Michigan Motor Carrier Safety Act for which the maximum period of imprisonment is greater than 93 days.
